Kitchen Staff

We’re looking for a warm, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Staff Member.

This role plays an important part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children while ensuring they receive nutritious, balanced meals every day.

About the Role

As part of the Bailey’s Learning Academy team, you’ll help promote healthy eating habits by preparing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks for our children each day. You’ll also help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and learning spaces, making sure our environment remains bright, safe, and ready for discovery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support the happiness and well-being of children, takes pride in cleanliness, and values teamwork in a nurturing childcare setting.

What You’ll Do

✅ Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks daily.

✅ Follow all health and safety standards when preparing, handling, and storing food.

✅ Keep track of food allergies, dietary restrictions, and serving sizes for all children.

✅ Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment.

✅ Monitor and manage food inventory and orders to ensure supplies are always available.

What We’re Looking For

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- 18 years or older

- 1+ year of experience cooking for large groups (school, daycare, cafeteria, or similar setting preferred)

- Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Professional appearance and positive attitude

- Must pass all background checks

- Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification

Assistant Teacher

We’re looking for a kind, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you’ll work hand in hand with a Lead Teacher to help children learn, grow, and thrive in a joyful, supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll help guide children’s mental, physical, social, and academic development under the direction of the Lead Teacher. You’ll play an essential role in creating a warm and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them.

This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children, enjoys being hands-on in a classroom setting, and values teamwork in a positive and caring learning environment.

What You’ll Do

✅ Support the Lead Teacher in planning and carrying out daily activities and routines

✅ Assist children with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

✅ Use Procare to communicate with families and share daily updates

✅ Help implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the classroom curriculum

✅ Follow all state regulations, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance

✅ Maintain required professional development hours to stay current in early childhood practices

✅ Help maintain teacher-to-child ratios at all times

✅ Assist with cleaning and organization to create a safe, welcoming, and sanitary classroom environment


What We’re Looking For

- At least 16 years of age

- Must pass all background checks

- Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification

- Ability to collaborate and work well with others

Lead Teachaer

Lead with Heart and Purpose at Bailey’s Learning Academy

At Bailey’s Learning Academy, we believe that every day is a chance to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team! This role is for a natural leader who thrives in a nurturing classroom environment and enjoys guiding both children and fellow Teachers toward growth and success.

About the Role

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll take the lead in promoting the mental, physical, social, and academic well-being of every child in your care. You’ll plan engaging lessons, support developmental milestones, and mentor Assistant Teachers and Fillers to ensure a consistent, caring experience for all children.

This position is ideal for an experienced childcare professional who loves to teach, lead, and make a lasting impact on young learners in a fun and supportive setting.

What You’ll Do

✅ Support children with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
✅ Use Procare to communicate updates and daily highlights with families
✅ Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities using the school’s curriculum
✅ Guide and mentor Assistant Teachers and Fillers to maintain smooth classroom operations
✅ Ensure compliance with all state regulations, procedures, and health guidelines
✅ Stay up to date with required professional development and training
✅ Maintain proper teacher-to-child ratios at all times
✅ Complete cleaning and sanitizing duties to ensure a safe, organized classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Early Childhood Education preferred)

- At least 18 years of age

- Previous childcare or classroom experience required

- Must pass all background checks

- Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to collaborate effectively and also work independently

- Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities

- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and warm demeanor

- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality care
